My husband and I are retired educators who live a quiet life with our beloved border collie, Molly. We love to meet with family and friends, grow our own vegetables, and tend our chickens. We enjoy painting, with John’s specialty as a pilot being clouds – as seen on my front page. We also love to learn and teach.
During my husband’s career, he taught Social Science, Geography, Aviation Studies, Technical Studies and developed numerous hi-tech workshops. He enjoys inventing projects to help others with their lives and businesses. He uses his skills in electronics, metal and plastics to solve problems in a wide variety of contexts.
While living with an inventor is fun, it is also a challenge. Our home is often laden with pieces of machinery and electronic circuits, which are only cleared when family or visitors come to dine. For a decade of our marriage we had our garage full, due to the construction of one and then another magnificent hi-tech aircraft.
I taught English literature, language (Bahasa Indonesia) and also Scripture for most of my career, as well as Special Education and English as a Second Language. I was fortunate in being able to study throughout my career and beyond; I love the challenge of writing and speaking, particularly when helping others with their dreams.
My particular areas of study are theology, eschatology, history, languages, including biblical languages and literature.
